PERSONAL INFORMATION

I was born in Pasadena in the mid 1960's. My father, Robert W. Taylor, was a business professor at Pasadena City College. My mother, Judith Taylor, was a lawyer who first practiced law in Pasadena, then eventually became an unemployment appeals judge with the CUIAB. Unfortunately, neither are alive today.

I have a younger brother (by 11 months), Joseph Taylor, who is also a licensed attorney. He does not practice law at the moment, but occasionally interns under me in his free time. Joe and I grew up in Pasadena, moving to Huntington Beach in our late teens. Today Joe lives in Riverside.

I live in Huntington Beach with my wife, Andrea. She is fantastic. She teaches dance at a local high school and helps around the office. We have two great kids, the younger in high school and the older in college. Since no family would be complete without a couple pets, we are blessed with an overly friendly dog, "Xena", and a somewhat aloof cat, "Tiger," who would not participate in the above photo.

In my/our spare time, we like to do a lot of walking and hiking. In addition to the beach, we love the mountains and have a modest cabin outside of Big Bear. In order to defray that cost, we offer bankruptcy services to those in Big Bear and surrounding areas (where, in truth, there simply are not many good bankruptcy attorneys).
